There is nothing a teacher can do to make your son more, or less gay than he already is. Your son is no more, nor no less gay when he gets home from school than when you kissed him good-bye and put him on the bus in the morning.

Now, the teacher may try to teach your son to be tolerant and accepting of others different than himself. YOUR teacher failed at that, but who knows, your son may not be as innately hateful as you are.

This is very telling. That Varvel sees the situation in such utter and grotesque extremes means either that the issue is so small that it takes an immense amount of inflation to gain traction, or that he really is sick in the mind and such lurid fantasies are what he thinks about.

Tell me how many Teachers , Good Teachers have Quit over this insane policy in Oklahoma !

Covid lockdowns opened a LOT of parents eyes. Our little Catholic school closed for 1 month and refitted the building to minimize risk then reopened. So a lot of parents enrolled their children. When they saw the results after covid, they continued to send their children there. The word got out and enrollment exploded so much, they had to add satellite classrooms to handle the load. Public schools have been totally taken over by the left and the students are paying the price.

The parents are the last to know in our upside-down universe.

Get your kid out of that school !

The Repubs think that the ONLY thing taught in school in gender reassignment. That everybody’s transgender, gay or a furry. Litter boxes are in every room and only Christian Nationalism will save us.

Varvel is living a fantasy. No teacher in class is like this. What they do out of class is their business as long as it does not violate laws. There is more child molestations from coaches, band directors and regular classroom teachers, and they get moved to other schools, not removed.

This is what’s known as a “Straw Man” argument. It is a type of logical fallacy where a person invents a fake opponent or position (usually also a grotesque caricature), and then argues against that caricature.

A Straw Man* is a lie, and it’s deliberate. Don’t fall for it. Call it out if you can.

*(I wonder if the language here has been made more inclusive; “Straw Person?” Or, is it being left alone because the perpetrator usually fits? I should check my sources in the Skeptical movement.)
