Here is a tip for eating spicy food.

Capsicum is a base. The reason milk helps some is because it is slightly acidic. To neutralize the heat faster, try something that is more acidic, like lemon juice.

Hoping that Irma would make a appearance in like a Garfield show or movie

I can’t stand spicy foods and hate how just about everything nowadays is “spicy” or “hot”. I prefer my food tasting like…oh, I don’t know…food!

She did warn you.

Next time, Irma, don’t put so many peppers on the eggs. Like I said before, why is it that Irma’s Diner hasn’t gotten in trouble for so many health violations?

I used to say always “More Hotter More Better”, but I’m older now and spicy foods upset my stomach.

I think I’m more surprised that there are more folks in Irma’s Diner than just Jon and Garfield.

me and spicy dont get along. went to a hot sauce store in Hudson,Ohio and tried a sample of one sauce. it was so hot I was using my teeth to scrape the heat from my tongue it was so hot

Maybe she put all those peppers in so she could make them pay more for their food

Carolina reapers by itself is enough heat to require a fire hydrant nearby. You could offer intravenous milk to the really ardent eaters. And, have you got a special license to even use this recipe? You might be in for a series of law suits after this Irma promotion is all over. Though you did warn them it was spicy, but you may have need to’ve done it in neon lighting.

I worked with a guy in the Air Force who would love that and ask for seconds. When he farted, it was a toxic green cloud that cleared the room.

Believe it or not, a teaspoon of sugar will help alleviate the burning cause by the peppers. Now what happens in the digestive system is another matter.

I would not use fresh hot peppers with fried eggs, I currently use Tabasco® Scorpion hot sauce, but I made my chili this week with three dried Carolina Reapers and barely noticed them. I am going add couple more next time.

I don’t get the attraction to this stuff – maybe they’ve burned out their taste buds and that’s all they can taste any more?
