    Today is:

NATIONAL KITTEN DAY. A day for little Oliver! Truthfully, though, EVERY day is cat and kitten day. And Dog Day too! And all pets day!

    NATIONAL PINA COLADA DAY

    CHRONIC DISEASE DAY

NATIONAL CLERIHEW DAY. National Clerihew Day in the United States celebrates a poem style created by Edmund Clerihew Bentley. His four-line biographical poem offers a brief, though whimsical, approach to poetry. An English novelist and humorist, Edmund Clerihew Bentley (July 10, 1875 – March 30, 1956), created the first-ever Clerihew at the age of 16.As with most poetry, the Clerihew is defined by a set of rules. These rules identify the clerihew style, but also make the short poem entertaining and informative. A clerihew poem must include:

Four lines.Rhyming couplets of AA/BB.A person’s name in the first line.Something said about that person.Humor because clerihew poems are meant to be a funny poem.

I was under the impression surround sound was for home “movie theatres”, and not car audio.

He’s going to drown in that storm if he doesn’t seek shelter. Poor baby.

About the cracked windshield in Brads’ old truck: someone at his work suggested a golf ball hit it. Part of the course is across the street behind Dianes’ house. I didn’t think that was it. Then, around 4PM yesterday, Brad was out looking at plants and watering some flowers and found a golf ball in the blue pot! It looks like Peggy was right.

Bad idea, Chesney. Hitching a ride with a stranger seldom turns out well. Of course, if the driver picks up Chesney, they’re going to immediately regret it. On another note, saw a rabbit, three juncos, five robins, a wren, and two swallows while out walking today.
