He could just walk around; Major stall tactic as he is trying hard to make his bluff work, with Annie groveling on bended knee for him to Please Please Please comeback but she wont stoop to it.
Chesney, I would say that your grumping at snails and bees and squirrels only goes to prove that you already miss Annie and the warehouse. Go back home!
Speaking of heat: yesterday afternoon Brad was coming back from the mailbox and saw that the windshield on his truck was shattered. It’s a big, circular crack that goes all over the window. At first I thought it might be vandalism but if it was, the alarm would have gone off.I think the heat did it. It’s a 1997 Ford Ranger, so I guess after 27 yrs this weather finally did it in. Even though he has the windows cracked, it’s hot.The truck is still in excellent shape both under the hood and the body. A few years ago I took it to a local guy who does paint and repairs. I figured we’d have it repainted. I was surprised when he called and said it didn’t need new paint. He just buffed it all out, put on a new yellow racing stripe and the truck looked brand new. Brad has an appoint for tomorrow morning for a new windshield. I bought it for him that year and it had 27, 704 miles on it (I have the paperwork in a notebook where I keep track of repairs, etc) I couldn’t drive it because it’s a stick. I had to have my daughter drive it home. Brad was stationed up at Pt Mugu at the time and his 1985 Toyota Tacoma finally bit the dust. He took the train home to get the truck.
Half an hour? That may be asking for too much. I hope for that snail’s sake that Chesney doesn’t have a salt shaker in that suitcase. On another note, saw a squirrel, two juncos, three robins, two nuthatches, and a rabbit while out walking today.

By the time the snail crosses the sidewalk, Ches will have forgotten what he is mad about.
Another 120 degree day. It’s now 11pm and it’s 97. I have all the shutters closed and all the ceiling fans on. This is nuts!

COW APPRECIATION DAY. I drink milk every day, so I appreciate cows every day.NATIONAL DIMPLES DAY
NATIONAL SUGAR COOKIE DAY. I like sugar cookies, but they seem more like a Christmas cookie to me. Besides, I have Oreos.

The snail is not impressed, Chesney. You’d be better off turning around and going back to the warehouse.

Just read POOCH CAFE.
I now believe I know where Chesney may be headed.

How much do you want the snail to move in half an hour, Chesney? If you’re going for significant movement, you might be in for a long wait.
