In a parody of some poet who had a radio program, Ernie Kovacs created the character “Percy Dovetonsils”, a "bizarrely effeminate ‘artiste’ " (per Wikipedia). He certainly had a bizare appearance.
I recently attended an evening of “SLAM” poetry… in French…
I surprised myself for not only following the French… but actually enjoying the evening too…
An artist would scrape his toenails on a blackboard. Considered repurposing an updated vintage concept.
