Some years back, I was in training for the ministry I work with; I was currently serving in Europe. While we were waiting in line for lunch, the day’s mail was handed out; I got a letter one day from my then-6-year-old niece. She had written on the paper that’s about 11″ × 17″, with lines on the bottom half. There was a picture she drew in the blank top half. Underneath she had written “Dear Aunt Janice,I love you. I miss you. Where are you?”As I opened it while waiting in the lunch line, behind me I heard a mass “aaawwww” go up. Everyone behind me in line was reading that darling letter over my shoulder.
