All I have to do to get my cat’s support is lie down on my bed to take a nap. He’ll get up on the bed next to me, start purring, and then lie down close enough so I can rest my hand on his back.

Cats are very supportive, and they know when you need them. They just tend to be a bit less demonstrative than dogs.

And when you get that boo-boo patched up, I’ll be needing the litter cleaned and my food bowl filled.

When I was young, I had a big orange tabby named Tigger. Any time I was sad, he would climb into my lap and bump my face with his head and purr until I laughed. He was the BEST.

If you treat your cat like a dumb animal they reciprocate the same. If you treat them like sentient beings They reciprocate same. Of course not all people or cats are the same there are always exceptions.

Our cat is a good cat. He’s laid-back and affectionate.

The only cool cats I have ever met act like dogs.

One of my cats is like this, but the other one wants on my lap to cuddle anytime I’m sick or struggling.

Our old cat would spend extra time with me when I was sick. On the other hand, their version of support also includes butts in your face.

Some cats are very demonstrative but that is the stereotype.

I wonder if Sarah has a dog and a cat. Some of the depictions are so accurate :)

Just wait until kitty is hungry, then she’ll be all over you.

My little black cat was very supportive and would rush over to lick my face and purr when I cried. On a particularly bad week, after four or five days of crying after work, she still comforted me but first she slumped her little shoulders as if to say “ugh again with the crying.”
