I remember one Sunday, about five years ago, when Nancy went back a panel to lean a ladder against the fridge in the next panel. The cookie jar was on top of the fridge. But Fritzi was in the living room, reading the Sunday comics. By reading the comics, she saw what Nancy was up to. I thought O.J. was staging a rebirth of American comics. I remember my wife telling me not to bring Nancy up at Thanksgiving dinner. Oh well, this is not what I signed on for.
There is bizarre Nancy cameo in today’s Hagar the Horrible. Hagar and Helga visit some strange Fritzi-themed art gallery and one painting has a Nancy with X eyes.
