Don’t give ‘em a phone ’till they’re 16, and keep the family together.

Not just me then!!!

My kids are grown, but they do generally reply to texts. Might take most of the day, they eventually do reply. Younger kids shouldn’t have a phone in general. Most child-development experts and educators suggest 14 at the earliest, 16 optimally.

My speaks or texts with our daughter numerous times a day. We’re lucky if we hear from our son a couple times a month

Forgets steenky text and makes a call.

Now imagine if instead of texting, he called. Mind blown.

For some reason, I have an instinct to always reply to my parents messages and answer their calls.

Well, the first part was great … but then it goes from poopy bad to better and now they’re middle-aged professionals.

I know the feeling. When our son was living at home, he would respond to his friends’ texts within seconds. Now that he has his own family, we can go for days on a two-word reply sent a week late.

Now my day is perfect. It is always a perfect day when the crocs appear. HOORAY!!!!!!!

Well that’s sad.

A hundred ways to communicate and it’s still like pulling teeth at times; same as it ever was.
