Fans of fictional wizards may remember that today is Harry Potter’s birthday. He was twelve when Nearly Headless Nick celebrated his five hundredth deathday on October 31 1992 so he will be forty-four today. The first Harry Potter book was published in 1997 but information in the second and seventh books dates the timeline within the books to the years 1991 to 1998. Harry Potter shares his birthday with his creator J. K. Rowling who was born the year before I was born.

Today is also my brother’s birthday. My brother shares his birthday with Harry Potter and my sister shares her birthday – October 29 – with Jack Reacher. Harry Potter and Jack Reacher both appeared in books which were first published in 1997.

Tyrants dislike any indication that all are not happy. If it becomes known that all are not happy, people know they might stand united for improvement. If they think they are the only ones unhappy , they just bear the situation.

Well In the Kingdom of ID, sadly the dungeon economic class, eat better than everyone, except the King.

DEI and Affirmative Action are specifically racist because they insist on preferential treatment of people based on race/gender over others who many be more or better qualified. Racism is not limited to white people and the thought that it is is… well, racist in itself. If your mother has to have life saving open heart surgery, who do you want to perform the operation: the best open heart surgeons in the world or open heart surgeons chosen specifically on race as part of a DEI or Affirmative Action program? When you start throwing around terms like “racist” or “sexist” perhaps you should take a look in the mirror.

I guess Spook is going to have a roommate for a while. He isn’t going to be happy about having to share his accommodations with another person.
