Golf …. as “exciting” as watching – paint dry!!!

Which sports do you watch?

As few as possible. Not easy at the moment…

I told my wife to shoot me if she ever caught me watching golf on TV .

Let’s put it this way, I’ve gotten a lot of reading done during golf matches on TV.

Can’t think of any sport more boring to watch. Just agonizing. Even baseball is more entertaining.

I’m with the kid on this one.

This reminds me of the two old guys sitting in the park, playing chess. One said “do you want to make this more interesting?” The other said, “sure!”

So they stopped playing chess.

I think of golf tournaments as screen savers

Well, the kid has a point!

Like watching paint dry.

I’m with Elliot on this one. And he doesn’t want to put in the effort to watch paint dry. Maybe he can go outside and watch the grass grow.

Ditto!!

That’s how I feel about most spectator sports. Granted I don’t pay any either. But I’ve always felt have were supposed to be for for the people playing. And before anyone gets on a high horse, I simply said that’s how I feel about games. Everyone in my family loves one type of sport or another or several. They don’t make me watch and I don’t make them participate in any of my hobbies.

We can turn the channel to the watching paint dry station for something more exciting….

My sister came to visit years ago when I was living in a high rise. She was scrolling through the tv channels and stopped at one for @10 minutes. I walked by and noticed which one she was watching but said nothing. Finally, she asked me what she was watching as nothing was happening. Told her it was the lobby camera for when visitors wanted to visit a tenant.
