Many things are not disturbing if you don’t have to see them.

Some things are disturbing (sometimes even more disturbing) when, even though you don’t seen them, you (are forced to) just imagine what something looks like.

OK, so no one could see the invisible man. But since he is invisible he wouldn’t be able to see anything. He would be blind. Think about it.

Is that why Blanch always looks unhappy? There is nothing there.

in the original ‘invisible man’ with claude rains he has to strip and in one bit the trousers come off-the f/x for the time were actually impressive to make the trousers look ‘empty’ but still have a shape.
