Mmm, 7 grain paella.

Why would anyone want to eat rice that wasn’t sticky?

During development, instant rice wasn’t sticking together, so the advertizing geniuses came up with the idea. Rice should stay together, especially if you are using chopsticks.

People used to ask my mother why her baked beans didn’t make them gassy. She said she pricked each bean before she cooked them.

The type of rice matters and rinseing the rice before cooking to reduce the stach content helps as does toasting the rice to avoid sticky rice.

I guess that’s one way to do it.

Oddly, my sister does that… She doesn’t know how to cook rice….
