Not too worn out tires (watch out for steel fibers).

I never really liked tire swings. I must have been a weird kid. But give me a swinging bench seat underneath a tree…well now, that was a different story!

As opposed to a sturdy tire and a worn-out rope…

The problem with tire swings is that they are full of water after it rains, unless you drill a hole in them. Most people to not. Has anyone seen the tires which are cut up and bent into horse shaped swings?

That’s my Dad, me and my backyard tire swing!!!

I’ve always wanted one but never had a tree tall enough or sturdy enough. My neighbor has a huge black walnut tree and I look at with envy.

Our tyre swing hung sideways/4 ropes, two of us could fit at the same time. Piled on as many as 7 or 8 before some one got stoopy and started bouncing….

Prefer metal chain swings—-you twist around as far as you can and then let go.You’re a human top

Wonder why the Gumbos are not growing young in this strip. It has all the contents of bliss applicable to childhood.

A clever thing to do with an old tire, but not the most comfortable swing.
