I know others have defended Scott based on his comments elsewhere (Facebook, DMZ, &ç), but by now, it is obvious that “never D” means more to him than “never Trump”.

What was it, one skunk cartoon last week, as opposed to a whole week on bashing Harris?

Scott can say he hates Trump all he wants. The net result of these cartoons, if people follow them, will be another Trump presidency.

Having followed this strip since 1985, it would appear that all attempts at honesty and fair representation are long gone. (Yes, once upon a time, this strip was fair in its representations of viewpoints other than Scott’s – the reason I have followed it for so long)

On return today, reviewed all of the dastardly and ad hominem gems of wisdom since last Thursday. I must acknowledge I was not disappointed that “the predictors of gloom and doom” held sway. I trust that most of you have (for when the finals are concluded) deep caves set up for a “long winter”. I missed all of the friendly jabs and hope I have contributed my share of friendly persuasion today to make up for my past absence.

“Just in!” Chicago is _ “boarding up”_ for the beginning of the Democratic National Convention and against the anticipated “peaceful rioting and violence.” To name just two of the most outstanding committed groups: 1> Antifa and 2> Hamas. Many of the “peaceful demonstrators” are just now arriving by bus, train (even hitch hiking) and possibly air freight courtesy of Biden himself. The Chicago police are on the job. The department has warned: “Don’t do bad things like burning, looting, vandalism or generally causing a stink.” The CPD has cancelled all leave and has set up “wellness plans” for their personnel to make sure they are effective in their response to such shenanigans.

One More Thing. The Minnesota media is rife with accusations and Walz is facing and taking “heat” on a $250 million meal program. Some 70 individuals have been named. The Feeding Our Future program for children was of coarse—to feed children. Instead, millions were funneled into luxury real estate and cryptocurrency. But then, our Walz did not benefit from any of that?

In 2020, the ballot could have been Trump vs. Bag of Pretzels, and I would vote for the salty snack. Magical unicorn? Sure, why not?
