The pot calling the kettle black

Want to kill time? Work it to death.

I know the feeling. When I was working we went all the way from New Year’s Day to Memorial Day without a holiday. When the new company took over, they’d canceled Washington’s Birthday/Presidents’ Day as a holiday. And we never got MLK Day off. It was, indeed, a long stretch, especially since we accrued PTO days week by week, so we started off the year with no time off at all. They were cheap toward their employees, despite their being a Fortune 150 company.

We have Australia Day on the 26th, as a coda to the Christmas break before the run to Easter.

Yeah, it sucks having a seven-day-a-week job. (loser)

I’m retired, so my next day off is tomorrow. But in my last-job-save-one after New Years, the next holiday was Memorial Day. Unpaid, of course.

Days off, it’s every day when you are old!!!

I usta feel that way in school, but now I love my work, so even when I hafta work every day, I’m perfectly fine with that!

National Day of mourning Jan. 9. MLK and Inaugeration day on Jan 20. You can make it.

So many people dislike January. I love it! Probably because it’s my birthday month and also many family member’s birthdays. It’s always fun! Mindset! :D
