We have achieved Full Sunflower Elvis! I wonder, does Elvis go through stages of Sunflower? Like the phases of the moon? Half Sunflower? Waxing or Waning Gibbous? That would be HIGHLarious.
I think I have seen many videos of cats jumping wildly when the toaster goes off. It’s almost as funny as the ones where they think a snake is sneaking up on them.
I always toast my bread. A few years ago, I ate a piece of bread and it turned to a gooey mush in my mouth. I haven’t been able to eat untoasted bread since.
Thomios: I think it’s time to have a s’mores night. Do we have enough crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows?
Sue Chef: If not, will pretty soon. I hear giggling in the background.
Thomios: I would like to make this a special night. If anyone is listening.
Alice-Ata: We couldn’t help but overhear your conversation. What would you like for the s’more party?
Thomios: I can make different crackers, but we need special chocolate, and maybe a few other ingredients like bananas.
Alice: I think we can find what you want.
Sometime Later
Alice: Alright, here’s the plan. Vi, you go to the library and find any scrolls that mention s’mores. I’m sure Bea can help there. Tash, you and Iggy go to the harbor and see what’s available there. Vi, how would you like to pay a visit to Floofnet’s Culinary School?
Vi: No problem. I think Emma-Peelia is available to ride on down there.
For some reason, our boys never get on the counters. We never squirted them or anything. Maybe it’s because the only time food is there, so are we. We don’t leave any food item out. Well, bananas are there but that’s it.
Every time I come here I get a link to “1 Meat To Never Feed Your Cat” with the prettiest kitty … oh, now it’s three of them. Well, now they’re all gone now that I’ve typed this.
Uncle would wrap the cat in his bathrobe with one cat paw hanging out. They would lean over the toaster and Uncle would do the countdown for the cat. When the toast popped up the cat would snag in and drop it on his plate. Once she did that he’s let her down for her breakfast while he had his.
I had a toaster which would occasionally fling the smaller end pieces of a loaf completely out of the appliance. That would be particularly spooky to cats.

Nothing phases Hamilton A. Cat on the counter. A food processor is going full tilt, and the cat just sits there and watches it.

If there’s something strange
And it don’t act good
Tryna start a brawl?
(Where’s butter?)
If there’s something weird
And misunderstood
Elvis is appalled
(Don’t trust ’er)
He ain’t ’fraid of no toast
He ain’t ’fraid of no toast
Who’s he gonna call?

If a cat can’t smell toasting toast and gets the hint to move away, he ain’t much of a cat.

Harry Chapin: Cat’s in the Cradle
Breakfast time just the other day
Elvis on the counter to investigate
An appliance there with an attitude
Tossing out bread, that’s so very rude
And Elvis went into Angry Sunflower Mode
He said, “This is Cat Dang Rude!”
“You know it is Cat Dang Rude!”
…….
And the Cat’s on the counter with the forks and spoons
Butter is ready very soon
What is for breakfast? We don’t know what,
But it will be served, and,
It will be delicious then!
…….
Lupin attending at Front News Desk
The appliances misbehave, it’s quite a mess
Here we have a toaster, no butter, though
And some language that should be no go!
And there’s still an angry sunflower that’s there on the counter
Saying, “This is Cat Dang Rude!”
“You know it is Cat Dang Rude!”
…….
And the Cat’s on the counter with the forks and spoons
Butter is ready very soon
What is for breakfast? We don’t know what,
But it will be served, and,
It will be delicious then!
