Oh, Annie, I’ve got a tear in my eye, too.

Which cat said that? I can never keep some of them straight.

Annie finds out all at once, like a tsunami, what heartfelt appreciation the cats (minus 2) really do have for her efforts and companionship. (Heart here)

Good for you, Jellybean! Why don’t you call your comic strip “Annie and Her Ten Cats”?

    Today is:

NATIONAL S’MORES DAY. Maybe I’ll do that later while I’m on vacation, but not today. Only 2 more days and I get 2 weeks off!

    NATIONAL SHAPEWEAR DAY

NATIONAL LAZY DAY. Far from being lazy, I will have a full day of work ahead of me. But I can take some time before going to work to be lazy.

    NATIONAL GARAGE SALE DAY

NATIONAL BOWLING DAY. I should go bowling again one of these days! I haven’t been bowling in several years. My favorite bowling alley changed hands and is now a “gentleman’s club”. I call it the nudie bar. But there are other bowling alleys. I even have my own bowling ball and my own bowling shoes, but I’m not sure if the shoes will fit anymore.

    NATIONAL CONNECTICUT DAY

    AGENT ORANGE AWARENESS DAY

I missed doing the “holidays” yesterday because the strip was late. It still had not updated before I went to bed. Then I was too busy in the morning to post the holidays before I had to go to work. So, here it is, a day late.

    Yesterday (August 9) was:

NATIONAL BOOK LOVERS DAY. I celebrated by buying some books at a library book sale. We could fill any sized bag with books, audio books, CD’s and DVD’s for just $5. So, I filled a bag. I got 2 audio books by James Patterson to listen to while driving to work and back. I’ll listen to those after my vacation is over and I have to go back to work.

    NATIONAL PASSION FRUIT DAY

NATIONAL RICE PUDDING DAY. I tried rice pudding once, but I’m not crazy about it. Give me chocolate pudding or lemon pudding instead.

    NATIONAL VEEP DAY

Annie deserves to be the heroine of the strip.

About time it was said. A little girl giving most of her childhood up to care for them, more than enough.

Thank you, Jellybean! It’s nice to see Annie finally get the respect she deserves. On another note, saw a junco. a Wilson’s warbler, and two rabbits while out walking today.
