What’s sad is a society that assumes everyone is impolite and disrespectful unless they’re constantly proving themselves. It would be better to assume that everybody is nice, but the brainwashing is deep.
To top it off, when the customer left, they had the nerve to use the crosswalk when crossing the street! GASP!
I rarely hear a “thank you” from any place I’ve chosen to spend my money. Often hear myself thanking them!
