I once looked out the window of my 6th-floor apartment in Philadelphia and saw that it was raining on the far side of the street and not on my side. It figures that anywhere it is raining there must be a place nearby where it is not.
Rode my motorcycle yesterday for about twenty miles…..lots of clear nice cumulous clouds around and even some blue patches. But….that one rain cloud followed me all the way home. I know the feeling Stan!
I’ve seen that twice, that I noticed. Once, driving in a car, I saw it was raining in the field next to me, but not on me. The other when I was very young, it was raining just across the street, but not on our house…
it’s funny when you’re driving and you reach that line of demarcation… there are times where I could have stood with one foot on dry ground and the other in wet!

The rain it raineth on the just
And also on the unjust fella;
But mainly on the just because
The unjust steals the just’s umbrella.
