Bad poetry doesn’t grow on a poet tree.
Once I found an orange
Right behind a door hinge.
Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes,
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts
With my blurglecruncheon, see if I don’t!
Oh, a visit from Ralph!
He’s a poet … and doesn’t know it.
It is easy to make a rhyme,I make bad poems all the time.Poetry can be fun, jus… Bacon!
Weird.
Trying to wax poetic, and you just drip.
I think, and I drink.
Yea, that need usually interupts whatever I’m doing.
Roses are red…
Fire trucks are red…
Where was I goin’ with this…
Beer!
Ah. Ogden Nash.
I could quote a passage from Ulysses, but why bother?
….and thus the Jabberwocky was born…..
Ummmm…there are other words that rhyme with dee….like wee…no not that…ummmm
I’ll get back to ya! ☺️❤️
Dave’s political cartoons are great. You owe it to yourself to read them.
Always great when Ralph pops in. His snarky looks make me grin.
Definitely caused a laugh with this one! I do like the dog’s reaction!
I don’t like haikus.
They’re too short to be much fun,
And they never rhyme.
Still not as bad as Vogon poetry.
“Green Acres is the place to be
It’s where I like to take a pee …!”
( my daughter’s and my go-to duet )
I think that I shall never see, a poem as lovely as a tree. You’ll take this poem and like it see, ‘cause I ain’t gonna send no tree.
Roses are red
Violets are blue squirrel
This poem is bad
I think I’ll go hurl
doggie haiku!
Commander Data’s “Ode to Spot.”
“Felis catus is your taxonomic nomenclature,
An endothermic quadruped, carnivorous by nature;"
Roses are red, Daisy’s are white, I think this poem isn’t quite right.
