What happened to tall, geeky Anthony? Either Elizabeth got a lot taller, or Anthony got a lot smaller over the summer. Anthony used to be about a head taller than Elizabeth.
I believe that dating is about exploring connections with different people, which is why it’s called dating and not marriage. I once stayed faithful to one guy for years, hoping it would lead to marriage, but it never happened. Looking back, I realize I could have been open to dating others during that time.
She’s still going out with Anthony? Since when? Whenever Rhetta reenters the story I’m always surprised she’s still around, but she might as well be the main character in comparison with Anthony.

Liz should have attended Riverdale High. Just by observing Archie, Jughead, Reggie, and Moose, she’d see what high-school boys are REALLY like!

If Anthony cannot even talk to other girls, then it’s time for him to grow a spine and let her know her behaviour is unacceptable.

Something she learned from her mother – “Don’t do as I do, do as I say”.

While Joyce Kilmer may think, “I think that I shall never see. A poem lovely as a tree.”
I believe that, “I think that I shall never see. Something as scary as a hormonal teenage girl.”

If John and Gordon saw all this happening instead of Elizabeth and Dawn going to class, they would say to themselves “Our tax dollars at work”.
