NATIONAL ICE CREAM PIE DAY. My freezer is stuffed to the gills with frozen peaches. I picked over 100 peaches from my peach tree on the first day of my vacation – the most I’ve ever gotten in one year. I think my old record was 30 (or was it 45?). There was no way I could eat all of those, so I gave some to a neighbor and some to 2 of my brothers who live near me and I spent a lot of time slicing up and freezing the rest. So, there is no room in my freezer for a single solitary thing. Certainly not a whole ice cream pie! And no, I could not eat the entire pie in one sitting! I do plan on having cake today, though!

It is also my 66th birthday. Gee, I could have sworn I just had a birthday about 6 or 7 months ago! Time keeps getting away from me!
Better not call Chesney “Your Majesty” around Lily. She would NOT take that well! On another note, saw two spotted towhees, a damselfly, and a dragonfly while out walking today.
We never called our last family cat by his name. He was always “the royal fuzz” or “his royal highness” or just “the cat” if you were annoyed at him, lol
