Duh! Of course!

Why hasn’t anyone else thought of this?

Some high rises are actually built that way. I saw a neat video of it. A whole floor is built at ground level and then hauled up to the top.

The top-down theory is not so ludicrous. They could have put the top stone on a sand dune (or hill), dug underneath it and put the next stones underneath that one. And then so on and so on.

This seems plausible, all you had to do is turn off the gravity first.

Actually, they built very small pyramids and then used “Acme Enlargo-Spray” to make them full sized.

These aliens always seem to think that they’re so superior to us.

According to a study published in PLOS ONE in August 2024, ancient Egyptians may have used hydraulic lifts to build the pyramids. The study suggests that the Egyptians used waterpower to hoist stone blocks to higher levels while constructing the Step Pyramid of Djoser, which is nearly 4,700 years old. The pyramid is located at Saqqara and was built around 2680 BCE.

Aha. Just what the ancient astronut theorists was always suspected.

Actually that is exactly how the great structure at Petra ( the one used in the Indiana Jones movie since there are many sttructrures there), was built.

Well, duh yourself, Brewster! They were materialized by a giant Star Trek replicator and beamed to their present location!

Honestly, Brewster’s theory makes as much sense and has as much evidence supporting it as the alien theory.

In the light of that argument, yeah, aliens built them.

That ol’ simple machine, the inclined plane. And when moving things across sand, dampening it just right to make a smooth surface. It’s actually pretty simple (not easy, mind you, but simple).

As an aside, I know this is just for fun, but do people realize how racist “aliens built the pyramids” and similar-type “theories” are?

They had giants building it, just like Lego blocks.

It’s easier to build the whole thing and invert it when completed. :)

Answer to aliens question: They used people to grease the skids.

I thought everyone knew there was a boat load of Jedi that built them…

I know it’s absurd to believe that the ancients had help from ETs in building some of their amazing structures, but look who’s on my side!

Some believe that the Egyptian and MesoAmerican pyramids were built by aliens because of the belief that Humanity started out as grunting apelike troglodytes, but what if we are actually descended from higher beings? If the ancients were brilliant beings who, though starting out technologically at Zero still developed technologies quickly?
