In all honesty, why did it take so long to invent small wheels for suitcases?!!! Slow evolution in the luggage design industry!

Wow! So that’s who invented the rolling suitcase with one wonky wheel! I was wondering how far back it went.
Love the torch in the idea bubble, makes sense since the lightbulb would not be invented for a long, long time!
Now he can tell his friends he got a new rolls.
Having travelled from Bogota, Colombia, to Omaha, Nebraska, yesterday I really appreciate those wheeled bags!
Reminds me a little of that guy from Geico ads.

Axel is a magician … he can cut a doughnut (toroid for we math major-engineers) to a diameter smaller than the hole. Unless it’s the phenomenon George Costanza called, “shrinkage.”
