    The dog going under the bar right now could easily go under it (too) if it (also) was just walking like normal on all four legs.

    The dachshund should have to get up on just its hind legs to go under the bar. Then its only advantage would be its length.

    That must be a Dachshund… I wish I could remember where I read it, but the perfect description of them is, “Half a dog high, and a dog, and a half, long.”
