My iPhone is over three years old, and is working fine. I just can’t understand people who have to buy a new iPhone every time a new version is released, which is once to twice every year.
I had an LG Fortune for years, but at one point the apps updated and I couldn’t use them on my phone anymore. Finally got a new phone last year. Will use it til things quit working again.
Yeah, ever since that last update, my 3-year-old Samsung has been pretty slow, and Verizon, bless their hearts, is doing everything in their power to get me to update to a plan that doesn’t have all of the free perks I now enjoy. after almost 15 years, it may be time to find a new carrier.
I buy a refurbished Pixel Phone every few years, IF there is a significant improvement in the camera. Four or five times optical telephoto is all I need for a camera that fits in my pocket. I don’t care to have the latest and greatest holographic, half-smart AI advertising interface. It should take calls, good photos, allow remote control of my PCs, and have some basic utility apps.
yup, that’s me, alright… except little by little they cram updates on, and there’s too many permanent apps which you can’t delete, so eventually I’ll be forced to replace it… poop on them!!
