Burning a dead snake in a barrel. Poured about a gallon of gas ( I was about ten and gas was $.25 per gallon.) Lit a piece of paper from about ten feet away and threw it in the barrel. The paper kept going out so I stuck mom’s lighter down in the barrel and lit it. Landed that ten feet away on my rear end with no eyebrows or eyelashes and missing a good amount of my hairline. Lesson learned.
