Several musicians are peeved at the Trump campaign for unauthorized use of what they own. Which, in case you haven’t been paying attention is EXACTLY his style.

The art of reducing a literary masterpiece to a few pages shouldn’t be understated. We didn’t have books in our working class household when I was young. But my mother subscribed to the Reader’s Digest. I read that thing cover to cover for years, still do when I can get my hands on one in the dentist’s waiting room.

Huh. Do you think Frazz’s song was ever used in a commercial? I haven’t followed the strip from the start so if it happened before, my apologies.

It looks like something that rarely happens to Caulfield is afoot. He’s running outta steam with his argument. Somebody find that lad a pencil and paper . . . .

Caulfield rants for days to no conclusion. Wasted effort for a sharp kid. But it’s his style and gives Mallett way express his own frustrations.

Jim Peterik (Eye Of The Tiger, Vehicle, and others) said if you can manage to write one minor hit and retain the publishing rights you’ll never have to work again.

One difference is that most songs are repetitive by design. If you hear only 10 seconds of them, you’re not missing much.
