Van Pelts and Browns aren’t made to play football together, apparently.

Mrs Brown has probably seen Lucy and Charlie Brown playing football.

Is American football such a dull, boring game as golf? To receive the passed ball from her teammate, Sally has all the time to nonchalantly walk down to the end of the field. Wouldn’t the action pick up faster and be more exciting if Sally would run down to the end of the field as fast as she can?

Sally could get mugged by a rabbit!

Sally sure worries a lot. Even in a harmless game of football.

And we haven’t even gotten to the physical injuries from the game itself yet.

Since he is 5/6 can he kick it more than 5’?

Sally was never seen or heard from again… until the next strip she appeared in…

Sally, you can comfort yourself with the thought that, for most football players, the chief danger is that they are NOT alone on the field.
