I always buy mooncakes around this time of year. My favorite filling is lotus seed paste. I think I may try to make some using nonstandard fillings, like black sesame. I’ve heard that a pecan pie filling is great for mookcakes, too. But I’m going to leave out the salted egg yolk. I know it’s supposed to be a counterpoint to the cake’s sweetness, and I like it for that, but I can’t stand the texture — too chalky. Blech!

According to the google, 50% of cats are right pawed. 40% are left pawed, and 10% are ambidextrous. Puck, Lupin, and Ora Zella are all writing with their right paws. We know Elvis is left pawed. I don’t remember which paw Goldie uses to take notes.
