Wasn’t it Lucy who got him that bean bag chair, so he could enjoy watching tv in the first place?

Go thou and do likewise, Lucy, and leave Linus alone. Instead of hassling your brother you could be doing all those things yourself.

You can read a book during the commercials. I often have the TV on while cleaning. It’s called multi tasking Lucy. No need to watch TV while outside however.

When I listen to people talk about the shows they watch on TV, it amazes me how uninformed I am.

I presume Lucy wants Linus to do that so she can watch TV herself.

Television can take you to all forms of entertainment. Provided there’s anything good on.

When I hear what people watch on TV, I’m relieved and pleased to know how uninformed I am…

Why do I have the feeling that Lucy just wants to watch TV for herself.

Linus’s punch line has real wit — not that I ever doubted Schulz’s ability in that regard!

My family was glued to the TV when I was a kid. I came to despise the poor writing in my teens and left TV behind. I’ve never gone back.

Once I broke my cable bill down to a dollars per hour actually watched, even adding in VCR recording, I was paying too much for too little. Given that now I’d have to add multiple streaming services, it’s worse. I have found I can cope quite nicely without them.

I think Lucy wants someone to hang out with her. If she wanted the TV spot, she would have just taken it.
