From yesterday’s comments, Last Rose Of Summer said, “Yelling at inanimate objects is my normal daily routine.”
I yell at inanimate stuff a LOT. I yell at my phone and my computer and I yell at the TV – or people on the TV when they do or say something stupid (no political remarks, please!). I even yell at stuff at work. Like when I’m putting something on the shelves and it looks like it might fall off, I tell it to “stay” or I’ll tell it “Don’t you DARE fall on the floor!” And when it does fall on the floor, I yell at it for falling on the floor. I get some laughs from customers when I chew out the merchandise like that. Yelling at inanimate objects doesn’t make things behave any better, but it makes me feel better.
I just so happen to have a 50 lb block of concrete laying around, waiting to find a good use. Currently, it’s an end table, waiting to find a GPS to be thrown on.
Off topic: Had the MRI yesterday and got the results late last night. Lots of medical jargon later, the bottom line from my doc was to call the orthopedic surgeon. Oh, yay. Guess I’ll call him later today. Color me not happy.
So much for that rude GPS. Wonder who dropped that brick. Whoever it its, they do seem to like cats. On another note, saw two juncos, and two dragonflies while out walking today.
