The before and after of mornings.

Here I sit on my couch at 5:15 am on Saturday morning, all ready for a big adventure hike in the mountains (after I finish reading the comics, of course). Popped out of bed this morning with absolutely no problem. A smile on my face and a spring in my step.

But on a Monday? With work staring me down? Get real. I have to PEEL myself out from under the covers.

Freedom to torment Jon endlessly I assume?

Have another cup of coffee, Garfield. And maybe a piece of pie.

Tastes like ’MURICA!

As one who recently had to give up coffee for a variety of reasons, I’m a bit jealous there…..

And that’s what Mountain Dew tastes like to me, too!

What does freedom have to do with coffee, and why would Garfield care what day it is? Aren’t they all the same?
