Corporations are owned by people. Under our constitution ‘WE, the People’ have rights. Citizens United gives certain people more rights than others in a duality. Corporations are NOT“people too”.
There’s something about “corporations” being “people” that I’ve never understood. Don’t corporations buy and sell one another all the time? And isn’t chattel slavery illegal in the USA? Oh, I get it; these corporations are “people” in the Cayman Islands.

Corporations as people comes to us from old English law. Blackstone wrote about it in the 17th century.
