Kat needs to ask herself what it is about Dean that she likes. Is he helpful? Friendly? Funny? Sympathetic? Some times it’s not the shared interest but that they are just a pleasure to be around.

Reading manga together wouldn’t exactly be bonding—but you absolutely could watch anime together as something to do when hanging out. Why is this a question?

I always read anime. (I watch it subtitled.)

Ranma ½ remake coming to Netflix along with something with Lara Croft (voiced by Haley Atwell). And some other good stuff I don’t remember right now. Lots of anime.
