My brother had a dog who could recognize “walk” and “stick”!
Also, car and ride, and cookies. One of them also knew ‘sneeze.’
My one cat knows the words eat and hungry.

A friend of mine has a dog named Doorknob…

Nuts to you, man.
I had a cat who would come in two or three times a day to get me to go on a walk with him. He had free access to the outdoors; he just liked having me along when he wanted to go outside his usual territory.
