Liz has to realize her mom is pretty good at picking up the “subtle” hints she’s giving off. After all, Elly was a young girl once, too….and who knows, may have experienced something similar.
Liz is forgetting was SHE that asked Candace to carry the break-up message to Anthony. And now Anthony is going to the Halloween Dance with Candace ! It’s called Karma…
In the corporate world, when women behave like Elizabeth, they’re too emotional or hormonal. When men act like that, they’re passionate & assertive. Quite the double standard.
Wonder if this story line twist will lead to Elizabeth learning a valuable lesson, and accepting the reality of what she put in motion; creating a modern day John and Priscilla, albeit with a revision to the original story.
we walked into daughter’s house with granddaughter fretting about some teenage issue, and i quipped, “aah! that time of the month, eh?” to which she said, “Mama! how does he know??” my wife was laughing, near peed herself.

A lesson to be learned here…don’t farm out your dirty work. You want to break up with your boyfriend, DO IT YOURSELF.

Ah—I remember this from the past, Elizabeth’s mood swings. Probably brought on by hormone fluctuation.

No date for the big Halloween dance, oops. A bad timing error, but maybe fixable yet.

Liz might be a teen but there’s still a bit of terrible two’s left in her.

I had two sons, now I have two granddaughters. Girls don’t get into nearly as much trouble as boys, which is nice. But OMG the drama!!

Nothing a little kick boxing wouldn’t fix. Kicking and punching a target can work off a lot of frustration and anger.

Elizabeth was trying to quietly leave the house yesterday. Now she is as stealthy as a herd of orange elephants.

Ah yes, that stage in life where Elizabeth is old enough for boys but not too old to throw a tantrum.

It is easier to raise Dawn. Her parents have one easy question for her problems:
Enjos: You doctor yet?
Dawn: No.
Enjos: Why you no doctor yet??
