It was said years ago in a comic strip that Garfield could not tell Jon why he didn’t like catching mice. I forget what one it was, but he tried to tell him by typing it out on a typewriter. If both Jon and Garfield have cell phones, why couldn’t Garfield just text Jon and tell him why he doesn’t like to chase mice?
Also, since Jon doesn’t seem to understand what Garfield is saying, they could text each other now on their cell phones and Garfield can tell Jon what he wants.
My cat got a mouse for the first time in his life yesterday (it ran in the house past me when I opened the back door, it’s cold out where I am, and I couldn’t save it). He caught it, badly wounded it, dropped it in a corner, and SNARLED at it for about two minutes before he killed it when I tried to intervene. Like, deep-throated growling that cats only do when they’re really, really mad. I think he was a wee bit creeped out by it since he hadn’t seen a live one before.
I was walking and heard a squeaking sound. I looked behind me and there was a cat walking with a live mouse in its mouth. I knew the cat was eventually going to kill it so it was just torturing the poor thing. It looked like something out of a horror movie.
It’s Election Day. Please ensure you or someone you know can vote for the right candidate, because your vote matters. Of course, if you are 18 or older. Your vote can help determine the results of the election.
I also recommend keeping Project 2025 in mind while you vote. If you need any clarification, please let me know.
Do you know how to tell moose meeses from mouse meeses? Mouse meeses don’t have antlers and are much smaller. Glad to answer for you, the question that you never asked.

I always have a mouse next to my computer, and a few older ones in the study. Mice are nice (or is it meeses?)

Garfield is shaking down the mice… You wonder how much they’re paying in protection money. OTOH, clearly they have nothing to fear.

It is useful to have a few mouses in spare when working at home.
