This is a bit fiddly. I don’t care much for, say, Jerry Garcia, but you can pick him out in, like two notes. Please don’t get me started on all the cats I love…
Duane Eddy almost didn’t become famous except for a mistake by Dick Clark. One time, at a dance session, he had forgotten to take along all the records he was going to play. When he ran out, he told the audience he was going to play the “B” sides of the 45s he just played and asked them to rate them. When he got to “Rebel Rouser,” the crowd loved it! The rest is history.

If you know who Duane Eddy is without googling it you’re really old. Told to The Count by a friend. An old friend.

know what else is out of tone, when you smack the guitar on someone’s head. ;D

Maybe Guitar Bob deserves some respect. He won’t get it from Andy though.

How about Les Paul? Very distinctive!

Are these two roughly the same age? I’ve always wondered.

Capp alone in the pub with a half pint, and guitar Bob. The Monday blues.

Guitar Bob needs to slip Andy a pint. Friends for life (when Guitar Bob plays) Un Huh.

Seems to me we used to have a kids’ show on the radio that had “plunk your magic twanger” as part of the routine. That sort of dates me, right?

Perhaps Bob can show Andy some guitar work in the style of El Kabong.

You’re too kind Andy, I would say by his unique style of irritation.

Why has no one gone full Bluto on Bob’s guitar?

My earliest guitar god was Chet Atkins. Finger-style guitarists always grab my attention, Tommy Emmanuel and lately Mateo Mancuso to name two.

I bet Andy would love to smack Guitar Bob with his guitar. There would definitely be a unique twanging sound.
