Bit of Trivia – Newton was appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer and delighted in prosecuting/convicting counters.

Not until he got hungry.

When that Apple hit Isaac Newton on the head, it gave him a brain embolism.

It was a stroke of genius.

Sir Isaac Newton died shortly after being hit on the head with the apple.

He didn’t understand the gravity of the situation.

Isaac Newton is sitting under a tree one day…

… when something falls out of the tree and hits him on the head.

He picks up the fallen object and examines it, then declares, “Why, some invisible force must have pulled this apple to the ground!”

A passerby overhears the famed scientist, then mutters, “Stupid idiot doesn’t know one fruit from another,” before shouting, “Hey! That’s a fig, Newton!”

This may be a stupid question, but inquiring minds want to know….. Can anyone tell me why Shoe no longer appears in color? Thanks for your help!

The story is apocryphal in at least a couple ways. First none of the original accounts by Newton,, or others whom he told ever claimed the apple hit him, merely that he watched it fall while walking in his garden. But given that people had seen things fall a zillion times, my guess is that Newton merely used it to illustrate his theory, which was initially related to the attraction between Earth and the moon anyway.

Newton’s first lawyer was Roy Cohen.

The question is who the apple actually belonged to. Once it left the tree it can be put into question.

So who or what is he going to sue a “Tree.” WTF.

and it forever ruined our world, between Medicare commercials and Lawyer commercials and of course election commercials, there is only 15 minutes of real tv played every hour and that is on the cable news channel too

He discovered that apples don’t fall far from the tree.

I am more curious how this kid made the connection between Newton and lawsuit? It’s so hilarious.

What was he going to do? Sue the apple tree?
