He has a cassette player? I guess he hasn’t heard of Spotify or IHeartRadio. Free with ads.

OK, if he’s still got a cassette head deck, satellite was never an option. It’s like the B.C. comic. Cavemen with a telephone. Get real, Glenn.

I visited Latvia in 1998. It was the first time I was ever outside the United States. It was a memorable trip.

I tried a free trial of satellite radio the only station I found that played music I liked talked over the music. If I wanted someone to talk over the music I don’t have to pay for it.

We just canceled our SiriusXM. It got way to expensive, but they did want to lower the cost way way down if we renewed. If they can do that they can keep it that low to begin with. Now we listen to radio and stream Pandora through our car radios. Win Win!!

My Sirius subscription just renewed this month at the exact same price as last year. To say I was shocked there was no price increase would be an understatement. Maybe my 20+ years of being an XM/Sirius subscriber is finally paying off! :)

Thank goodness there is no sub genre of techno that includes bagpipes.

Just this past weekend while digging through some old boxes for stuff to give the grand kids I found some old mix tapes I had made back in the 70s and early 80s. The kids wanted to hear them and I wondered how they would sound after 40 some odd years. Fortunately, I still have an old working Sony boom box with CD and cassette player. When I pushed the play button I nearly died. They still sound as good as when I first made them. Brought back some great memories and the kids liked them too.

Latvian bagpipe music is not great. Try this instead:
