Truth to tell, I’m a little disappointed that Pmm isn’t asking “What are you doing, Dad?” in Panel Four.

By the by, the weather in Ohio the past couple of weeks has been upper 40s to around 60 with no accumulation of snow. But, y’know, rib-tickling jokes like Ed trying to clean the icy gutters just can’t wait until December. Here and I thought today would be the start of ‘If FedEx Took Kids to School.’

A genuine Ed Crankshaft appearance! Somehow, despite all the Funky Winkerbean characters who now infest the strip, Crankshaft managed to hang in there.

Don’t be so quick to praise senile Lil—-She thought Ed was Bruno Hauptmann.

Fat boy Ed couldn’t hang with 1 hand for more than 2 seconds. Comic strip physical fitness or physics, you be the judge. At least Sgt Snorkel typically uses both hands to grip a tree branch.

You was waits for rescue squad? You couldn’t just picks up that ladder and helps him yourself? Geez what a couple of utter lazybones.

Mid-November is usually “Ed hangs off the gutters while cleaning out leaves,” but I guess Davis couldn’t be bothered to find that clip art, so suddenly it’s late January.

Ed certainly must have dropped his flamethrower but I don’t see it on the ground.
