As an OK GO lyric goes, “Nothing ever doesn’t change, but nothing ever changes much.”

Oh, yeah, I forgot that not everyone can remember things from that age! I have quite a few memories from when I was a young tot. I believe the earliest memories I have were from when I was about three years old, maybe a bit less. In hindsight, it makes sense that the Shield of Boringness affected her, as Phoebe would’ve immediately pointed out that she was in the presence of a unicorn, not a “pointy horsie.” Sure, kids at her age don’t know every single word in the world, but I believe the Shield of Boringness, should its levels be down, would allow anyone to be able to say “unicorn” out of awestruck wonder.

Now, what about the circumstances surrounding that particular photograph. Florence is demonstrating more curiosity, interest and mindfulness there that Marigold did for a while.

It still seems odd that there is a photo of Phoebe with Florence in the background and no one seems to have noticed until Phoebe noticed at the beginning of the arc.

Maybe it’s because of the Shield of Boringness and Phoebe recognising Florence as a result of knowing her through Marigold.

Apparently the photo was taken after Phoebe got back home. With Florence watching over her.
