This one made me chuckle for real. Woodstock is adorable.

I was certainly glad to see that bird bath—and Woodstock!

Well, he probably would have only caught a small stickfish, or a wiley northern leaf, anyhow.

Incidently, they sell birdbath warmers. Ice isn’t much help to the squirrels and birds.

Woodstock is the only character that Snoopy consistently treats with love and respect.

I was thinking this is one of the rare Peanuts strips that doesn’t end with a joke, but ice fishing in a birdbath. I think it counts.

I don’t know what breed of bird Woodstock is but he’s definitely no penguin!

Woodstock could attempt to fly away as the ice gave way. But even that much seems unlikely. He’s far lighter than Snoopy.
