We’ll probably get household robots the same time we get flying cars.

And what he writes will be either inaccurate or plagiarized or both.

My students (many who couldn’t or wouldn’t write a sentence) have already learned that with AI they had a wonderful writer inside them all this time. Who knew? Of course, when questioned, they have never heard of AI.

This should have been expected. For an AI it is much easier to write a passable essay than it is to do housework. Consider the following video from Boston Dynamics showing both the successes and failures of HD Atlas.

That’s not reality until we accept that it’s reality.

I have just recently tried using “ChatGPT” for searching on something that I knew the info on. Hoo-Boy, did it make a lot of mistakes! I’ll keep it as an option, but “Google” is still my main Engine…

The next generation of AI Chatbots are designed to “operate your computer”. They will be able to interpret items on the screen and execute mouse and keyboard actions. The tech writers are jubilant-crazy, like this is a good thing.

AI writing today is mostly: “Look at me! Look at me! Read all this somewhat-true verbiage so we can monetize you! Keep reading until you realize it’s all a waste of time!”

Something has gone wrong when we make A.I do art and literature and let child work.
