I expected to see Roscoe grinning about that.

We’ve had a neighbor like that. He ended up with a lot of “presents” on his back door stoop. And eventually figured out that it wasn’t the neighborhood kids pranking him. Though it took him longer than I thought it would.

The dog has been doing his business on the lawn for years he has his own deck and computer out there.

Isn’t Clyde one of his neighbours??

Take him for a walk, Earl!

There’s 10 acres of grass out there. Go be a dog Daisy. Sometimes I gotta be a dog too. It’s a long walk back to the house sometimes.

He should make the lawn bald spot a feature. Edge it with pretty stones and add a central figure or a bird bath.

There are apartments across the street that have expanses of grass where people walk their dogs. I don’t see anyone picking up anything.

You and others like you upset me. Dog owners specifically take their dogs for a walk so they can do their business on other peoples’ lawns.

I love the expression on the precious Roscoe : )

Remember a neighbor who swore his dog did nothing in my yard. One day we were talking and of course, his dog squatted five yards away. A great moment…

I honestly believe that every neighbor with a dog does this.

So he goes on Nelson’s grass?

I have three cameras covering the front and side areas. If I catch someone doing that, you can bet that video is going to the HOA.

I grew up on a farm – our dogs never used the lawn – they went into the tree grove or shelter-belts – and they did it on their own – we did not train them. It was nice running around the lawn barefoot with no worries :>)

Earl got tips on that from Ralph Drabble.

It’s definitely greener, at the moment.

This is why I can’t plant flowers around my lamp post. It’s a favorite wee spot for my neighbors’ dogs. I tried putting a lit garland around the post one Christmas, but it burnt out. I found out while taking it down that it wreaked of dog pee.

I’m the neighbor – but lucky enough that the dogs are Chihuahuas.

Why I hate a lot of dog owners

My neighbor did that. I scooped up all the poop and threw it back in his backyard. Behind his shed where he couldn’t see it.

My dog knows it is his backyard and will only poop somewhere else.

Very generous to share doggies poopies with neigh bore.

It’s fall here plenty of different colored leaves hard to tell what’s what out there. ;>)

No more problem! At least while they neighbor is in the dark.

We had a neighbor 60+ years ago. She had a Scottish Terrier and we had a poodle that was ALWAYS on a chain and couldn’t even go into her yard. We watched her one morning picking up her dog’s poo and looking at it, scrutinizing it. IF she thought it was our dog’s poo, she would throw it into our yard! (This was in the early morning hours as she was still in her robe and jammies.) Finally my father had a talk with her. Found out she was losing it, so Dad went and talked to her son, who was our Post Master. She finally stopped!!

Other than some dogs are the nicest people I have ever known, sadly I find that I am too old

and in too poor health to share their friendship…

and clean up after them…..Such is fate…
