I’ll never understand why guys think it’s unmanly to say it. It’s one of the most manly things you can say.

When should you tell your wife that you love her? Before somebody else does.

Thank goodness our dogs are willing to say they love us by snuggling.

Evidently Earl DOES say it often enough with his actions that Opal knows what he means, even though he can’t quite spit the words out.

In long term relationships the spouse does know what it is to be said before it is spoken.

Romance isn’t dead. It’s on life support, though.

Some people just don’t know how or can’t show their love or say it, most of it is because they were raised in a houselhold that was like that. My Dad is like that, he is not one to show love by hugging or saying I love you alot but he shows it in other ways that you know how he is feeling. His parents were not very loving toward one another so he did have a male influence to help him. He did tell me he loved me and held my hand right before I went in for my pace maker surgery last December and when my sister passed away a year ago, she was in a coma with no chance of waking up so she was taken off life support, he couldn’t be in the room when they shut the life support off because it was too hard but when he went back in room he have her a kiss on the forehead and said goodbye and said he loved her, actually he did it three times because Mom and I weren’t there, Mom because she lives 4200 miles away and is 74 in bad health and couldn’t travel here and I couldn’t deal with seeing her like that so I couldn’t go to hospital because of panic attacks.
