After it’s cooked and mixed into the Jambalaya you won’t even notice it. At the moment she’s chopping green peppers. I love green peppers, in my chili, omelet, all sorts of stuff,
I grew up in south Louisiana, and there were always so many Cajun/creole foods I couldn’t stand. It wasn’t until much later that I learned about the Trinity and finally understood the problem. (I’m one of those people for whom bell peppers are both disgusting and overpowering.)

Had some bad sake. Stir fried celery in it. The result tasted pretty good.

She’s never had celery properly prepared. Only the bare celery sticks in a school lunch.

And then they ruin it all with okra.
