I bet Chesney could summarize his list with just one word – “Everything”.

    Today is:

    EDUCATION SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS DAY

    NATIONAL CHILD’S DAY

    NATIONAL PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE DAY

NATIONAL ABSURDITY DAY. This day was created as a day to recall and note some of the entirely off-the-wall and ridiculous things in history, in our country, and in our lives.Absurdity Day is also a day to have fun and do crazy, zany, and absurd things. Use the day as an excuse to let out the silly antics hidden inside them. You can do things you have wanted to do that make absolutely no sense at all, and it will be okay because you will be celebrating this National Day.

GIS DAY. On the third Wednesday in November, GIS Day celebrates the technology of Geographic Information Systems. It’s also a day to discover and understand the benefits of GIS.A Geographic Information System (GIS) connects data to a map and integrates location data with descriptive information. This system of mapping and analysis is used in science and other industries.

NATIONAL PAY BACK YOUR PARENTS DAY

It’s quite a marvel that Chez can read and write. Wait, I forgot little Ollie has the same skills. Yesterday’s hike was interesting -I fell hard twice, lost the trail under the snow for awhile, but made it to the lake which is partially frozen and has these big circles of open water. I could sometimes hear kind of a whooshing sound. It was 15 degrees but sunny and no wind when I started and the parking lot, which fills by 7 in the summer, was empty.

I’m surprised the index is that short.

    I’ve decided to retire.

Since the passing of my client i no longer have any reason to get up in the morning. And i have so much to do in the new home now anyway. And i’m tired. And sore.

The arthritis is in my lower back causing sciatica. as a result i’m on muscle relaxers at least twice a day. I have a hernia. The bursitis isn’t getting any better either. And my hands are about useless for anything where i need strength or dexterity.

And i have been doubting my mental acuity. Too many forgotten tasks.

I’m retiring into poverty anyway so i doubt what little difference there is between now and June is going to make that big of a difference.

Sometime later when i’m better settled in and i can find a cat setter i’m going to take a trip down to California to give my best friend a hug.

The index of a list seems like it should be about as long as the list.

I highly doubt his actual list is that short. It probably would encircle the earth five times at least. On another note, saw two wrens, a chickadee, eight varied thrushes, and a rabbit while out walking today.

I had a nice walk today. There is a huge open area in the park that was covered with leaves, and there was a very strong wind that blew all the leaves into one area at the base of a rise. I planned to walk over there when I came back on my way home and jump into the leaves like a little kid, but I forgot and came back by a different path. Now it’s supposed to snow tonight, so I missed my chance.
